Thank you for booking your elopement ceremony with me! Here's everything you need to know.
ARRIVAL TIME/START TIME
I will arrive 15-45 minutes before your ceremony start time to coordinate with your other vendors (if any), quickly walk you both through what is expected of you during the ceremony (if necessary), and help coordinate your processional and recessional (if your ceremony includes them).
FEE
The fee for the ceremony is $350, which is due in cash before the ceremony begins. I only accept cash. I do not accept checks, credit cards, electronic payments or cryptocurrency. Payment must be made before the ceremony begins - no exceptions.
GETTING YOUR LICENSE
You are responsible for procuring a valid Ohio marriage license from your local county probate court. I do not issue your license! You have 60 days from the date the license is issued to have a licensed officiant (me) perform your ceremony and sign it. Please bring everything you were given at the probate court with you to your ceremony. Probate courts will give you a folder or large envelope with all of these papers inside - bring all of it. Don't remove anything from the folder or envelope they give you at the courthouse! For a list of step-by-step instructions on getting your marriage license, and important notes regarding your residency, visit this page.
CHANGING YOUR START TIME (DON'T!)
You must clear any change to the start time of the ceremony with me first! I schedule multiple ceremonies in a day. If you change your start time and it interferes with another one of my scheduled ceremonies, you'll be in breach of contract and will need to either accept my potentially extreme tardiness or find another officiant.
