This review may be a little late, but i remember the day well and it still feels like yesterday. Tim Greathouse married us 10 years ago at Gervasi Vineyard in Canton, Ohio. On that day and the days that have followed thinking about it, I am so thankful and grateful that Tim was our officiant. I guess it could be summed up by the quote “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” We felt like Tim had known us for years (all of our guests asked about this) when he spoke at our wedding - and I think that might be my favorite part about our day - we FELT and our guests FELT the love, and Tim perfectly expressed this. Full disclosure : I found Tim on the internet 2 months before my ceremony and spoke to him a handful of times. He was calm and professional, and made us feel at ease during the process. I had no idea the difference Tim would make on making our wedding a truly personal and enjoyable experience. We highly recommend Tim as a wedding officiant; you will not be disappointed! Tim was amazing! He helped my husband and I feel so calm and at ease at the rehearsal and especially on the big day! Tim did an incredible job at our wedding! It was personalized and us. He took into account everything we shared with him and wrote a perfect for us ceremony. Tim takes his duties very serious and professional yet is relaxed and enjoys what he does! We laughed and smiled and cried through the ceremony and had so many compliments from our guests! Tim was very professional and punctual. The day of our wedding he arrived early to walk us thru everything which put our nerves at ease. He was very polite and really cared about making the experience special for the bride and groom. You can automatically tell he has a passion for what he does as he explains the run down of how the ceremony will go. He even asked one of our family members to translate in Spanish because half of our family is Puerto Rican which really helped because the grooms step mother only knows Spanish, so she was able to connect with the ceremony. When there was a clash of timing and the groom arrived while I (the bride) was still setting up, he shielded me from my husband so he wouldn't see me before the wedding 😂 [originally posted on The.Knot.com]

Tim was great! We would book him all over again if we had to. He did a wonderful job officiating our August 2021 wedding. He was super personable, very laid back but also professional. He cracked us up, had a really nice way of calming us down and reminding us of anything we needed regarding officiant details. He was very punctual, friendly and easy to work with. Tim was more than we could have asked for! He did a phenomenal job at keeping everybody locked in during our ceremony. I have had multiple people come up to my wife and I and tell us that he did the best job that they have yet to see. He could tell my wife and I were nervous during our ceremony with everybody in the audience looking at us and Tim did an incredible job at easing our nerves. Tim Tim Tim!!!!! What an incredible Job you did for our wedding sir. Not only did you keep Grace and I relaxed throughout the entire ceremony but you caught everyone’s attention with ease. You had people laughing and crying all at once. A comment simply cannot describe how amazing you were for our big day. You took what we wanted and made it your own and absolutely nailed it! Everyone there including us had something great to say about you come the end of the ceremony. Would recommend you to anyone I know!!!! Thank you for everything.
Tim has a way with words; and that is putting it VERY mildly! If you want something unique, heartfelt, and very genuinely “you”, then you want Tim leading your ceremony! During the rehearsal, he prepped the bride and groom and said “This part is easy for you! I’m going to read a line, and you’ll respond with ‘I will’.” He read the very first line he prepared, and my only genuine reaction was “(Darn)* You’re good!” We chose somewhat of a non-traditional and semi-secular wedding; and Tim was happy to accommodate any particular secular or non-secular points we wanted; he just wanted our day to be as perfect as possible. If you want something similar or different than my wedding: secular or non-secular, I have no doubt he’ll make it just as special and reverent as our day was!
My wife and I found Tim last minute when we realized we would be without an officiant for our wedding. We spoke with Tim beforehand and thought right out of the gate that he seemed like a very genuine person. Come our wedding day Tim proved just that and more. He kept everyone’s attention so well during our ceremony and really helped my wife and I with our nerves beforehand. He did an A+ job from start to finish and I’m pretty certain he will be officiating others that attended our wedding. Everyone there had nothing but great things to say about him and his personality.
