I’m the father of the bride at one of Mr. Greathouse’s recent (8/14/20) weddings. My daughter and new son-in-law found and hired Mr. Greathouse probably the way you’re searching right now. My first meeting with him was at the rehearsal dinner. There I asked him if he had a plan. You see, I’d recently attended a wedding where an absolutely horrible officiant really botched my friend’s daughter’s special day. Mr. Greathouse assured me he had a plan. I thought the rehearsal went well and we all looked forward to the big day. We were blessed with a perfect weather day, in a perfect setting, and Mr. Greathouse, true to his word, had a plan. Mr. Greathouse conducted an absolutely beautiful ceremony. Through his process of getting to know my daughter and her fiance he put together an engaging, thoughtful, and very personal ceremony. All our friends commented about Mr. Greathouse’s wonderful job. I’m sure he’ll hear from some of the families in attendance as they prepare for their special day. All I can say to you, the reader of this testimonial, is that you will be totally thrilled with Mr. Greathouse and his plan.
Tim was amazing, accommodating, engaging, and professional. Pandemic weddings are the way to go! Tim was one of only five humans there (there was also an honored dog). Did that phase him? Did that throw him off his game? No my friends. He rose to the occasion, and presided over a wonderful ceremony full of joy, laughter, and some dog barks. If you are looking for someone to officiate your big day, whether a pandemic pull-off, or a traditional treat, look no further. Tim is all about how you want to start your life with your new spouse. He’s not going to tell you you can’t bring a dog!
Tim did such an incredible job officiating our wedding; he’s a great guy and we really enjoyed having him around. He kept everyone on the same page, made sure we knew exactly what we needed to do and say, and everyone liked him a lot! We can’t thank him enough for de-escalating our stress before the ceremony; he was very intuitive, conversational and Billy was especially grateful to have him by his side before the processional began. The ceremony was so personal, thoughtful and just the right length! We had a blast filling out his survey, it was a great way to reflect on our relationship, and it allowed him to make our ceremony totally about us and our relationship, which is exactly what we wanted! We got so many compliments on our ceremony – we were seriously blown away by it. Tim was absolutely amazing. I am so happy we decided to work with him. It was super important to my husband that our ceremony be non-religious but based towards our relationship. A lot of non-religious ceremonies tend to be brief and impersonal. Our experience was nothing like that. Tim took the time to get to know us and gave us a truly beautiful ceremony. We got so many compliments on it for being such a unique ceremony as well. Even my conservative relatives remarked on how wonderful it was. I was very impressed with his professionalism and the fact that he was so laidback, it was hard for me to get worked up about anything. Definitely would recommend him!! Tim was amazing! Tim really made our ceremony feel personal and like he knew us well. The time Tim puts into his work really shows! We LOVE LOVE LOVE Tim! He is so easy to get along with and such a smart funny dude to begin with. And he's a phenomenal officiant, to boot! He keeps you calm through the whole ceremony. He makes little jokes to keep the ceremony light, while still delivering the most beautiful and moving wedding ceremony I've ever experienced (and many of our guests said so as well). We like that he's concerned with the wedding as a whole. For example, he will have you adjust your stance ever so slightly when you arrive at the end of the aisle, so that your pictures turn out perfectly aligned with you and your spouse on either side of him. He will tell you exactly what to do to make your wedding memorable not only while you're in the moment, but also afterwards (he knows how to let the photographer get the best pictures). I cannot recommend him enough. But BOOK EARLY. He is so great that he books up quickly and early. [originally posted on WeddingWire.com]
Booking Tim for our wedding was a no brainer. Since before the wedding planning process, my husband & I knew we wanted a very personalized wedding ceremony, specialized for the two of us. Tim had every box checked for us in what we were looking for. We knew we wanted a serious, but laid back ceremony that reflected our personalities. My husband & I met with Tim two times prior to our wedding & he performed our ceremony as if he knew us for years. He made sure we both knew exactly what we were to be doing during our ceremony & put our mind at ease. As well as guiding us throughout the entire ceremony. We still are getting compliments on our wedding ceremony. Many wedding guests said our ceremony was most beautiful ceremony they have seen because it was personalized to us! We are so thankful to Tim for providing us with such a beautiful ceremony we will cherish forever! Honestly, he is the BEST, so book him if you want a ceremony to remember!!
