Instead of doing a typical elopement, my husband and I decided to treat this first ceremony as our civil wedding. However, we didn't want to just go to the courthouse and sign the papers like it was any other day... We decided that even though it wasn't our main ceremony, it should still be special and unique. Hiring an officiant was a huge part of making that moment truly memorable—and Tim totally got it! We got married on a Sunday, and during the ceremony, Tim spoke words that truly surprised us and exceeded all our expectations. On top of that, he was so respectful and sensitive to our faith, giving my husband and me a private moment during the ceremony to pray together as Christians. It was beautiful!
Our search for an officiant led us to Tim's website where his ceremony theory really spoke to us. Booking was easy through his site and the questionnaire he had us fill out was definitely worth the time. He wrote us a ceremony that felt completely personal, honoring us as individuals while still showing who we are as a couple. Multiple guests told us it felt like he'd known us for years. On the day itself, he was calm, warm, and had such a welcoming presence that really put us at ease. We got married outdoors at the historic Everett Covered Bridge in Peninsula. Tim made the whole experience feel effortless and deeply meaningful. It really was everything we hoped for. If you're looking for an officiant who will take the time to get to know you and create something unique, it's Tim.
Tim was absolutely amazing! We had a private ceremony with about 15 people. Tim was there early and ready to go. The service he gave was perfect. It was like he's known us both all along with how personal he made it for both of us and made us laugh more than once.
Tim Greathouse is an authentic, sentimental expert at conveying the essence of unconditional love, respect and true wedded bliss to any amount of people gathered together in celebration of your big day. Tim has a magical presence that brings both peace and a delightful sense of story book romance. He is a gifted speaker and and the type of person you feel you’ve known for years. It was an honor to have him as our officiant and to be his 900th (!!!) ceremony. Thank you Tim for making our day thee most special and memorable day of our relationship!
I don’t even know where to begin with Tim. He is not only the most skilled and knowledgeable officiant but also an amazing person. Just speaking on the phone, he put all of our anxieties at ease. I never once had to worry about a single part of our ceremony. Tim made sure we were comfortable with everything at the rehearsal and left us with no questions. On the day of the wedding, our coordinator didn’t show up and we were in a panic to say the least. Tim walked in with a huge smile ready to roll and once again eased all of our anxieties. He took care of absolutely everything and made sure everything went PERFECT. The ceremony itself was by far my favorite part of our day. We received so many compliments and so many people asked “how long have you known your officiant?” Because it was just THAT GOOD. We truly feel blessed to have met Tim and shared such a special part of our day with him. If you want to have the most stress free and amazing ceremony, we highly recommend Tim!
Tim is the best! He has such an easy going and calming personality which is important for days like this! He was available for us to get married on a Tuesday morning. It was just him, my husband and I for our special day. Personally we wanted something short, non religious and free from having to write any of our own things which is exactly what we got! We've never done this before so we weren't even sure the steps (as far as marriage license, etc.) and he walked us through exactly what we needed to do and the time line for it which helped a lot. He's hip, he's cool, and he's chill. Perfect for us!
Tim was excellent! Our ceremony would not have been so perfect without him. The ceremony was the perfect length and he made all of our wedding day jitters wash away. Our guests loved how he told our story it had just the right amount of personal touch. He was so attentive and constantly checked in on us leading us to the big day so we had nothing to worry about. I would absolutely recommend Tim for you wedding day.
We absolutely loved Tim! We had great communication before our wedding! He guided us through the whole process of how the ceremony was going to go perfectly! He is so good at what he does! Took everything from our questionnaire and just made our ceremony perfectly written for just us! With the perfect balance of humor and heart! Everyone loved Tim and we were asked if he was a friend of ours!

Tim was an absolute pleasure to have as our officiant for our wedding in June. He did a great job in making both myself and my wife feel at ease during the reherasal dinner and ceremony.
